About

Siri Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara was developed by the Gurdwara Committee, which was founded in the 1990s to co-ordinate the development of a landmark gurdwara on the grounds of a large premises purchased by local Sikhs on Saddington Street. The gurdwara, which opened in 2010 and is the largest in Europe, was funded by donations. It is used as a religious, educational and social space, and is home to various sports teams such as Guru Nanak Football Club, who use the surrounding land as sports fields.
