About
The Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Grangetown, Cardiff was established by a committee which was formed in 1978 and sought to raise funds to purchase a permanent place of worship for the city's Hindu population. Premises were purchased in 1979 and by 1982 the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir opened. Soon after, the committee founded the Indian Cultural Centre.
